I am honoured to take part in a keynote panel this Wednesday at tge University of Sydney which will consider discourses of trafficking and modern slavery. With current legal and policy developments in Australia, the Mekong region and elsewhere this event is an opportune time to contemplate the impacts of such approaches to migration governance.
